It’s been hailing here in our neck of woods every other day! Well, almost… it hailed about 3 times last week, but already feels like hail is the necessary part of April showers. A couple of bean plants got broken, but apart from that no other damage done.
The hail “granules” on Friday 20 April were about 5 mm in size. Dear husband said to the little one : “Go have a look! It’s snowing!” The daughter went up to the window, looked at the mayhem and said: “No Daddy, it’s not snowing, it’s raining with ice cubes!” Out of the mouths of babes…

Yes, we had another little hail storm yesterday night, much smaller size ice cubes this time, but still it seems increasingly regular this year! And yes, I’m learning the zipping/unzipping business of the greenhouse
