You can tell by the battered box that this kit has had several lifetimes. The Revell-Monogram Pro-Modeller Messerschmitt Bf 110G-4 in 1/48th scale. I paid £5 GBP for this and the two OEZ kits from a neighbour. A previous owner (not my neighbour) had partially built the wings and several parts were removed from the sprues. However, it is all there even if the box is falling apart. The only problem was that one of the previous owners had lost the instruction sheet which explains why my neighbour practically gave it away. However, after an enquiry on the FSM Forum several kind forum members came to my rescue, including Mr Swanny of Swanny's Models (occasional writer for Fine Scale Modeller). Regardless of the checkered history of this particular kit, this model is beautifully moulded. The detail in the Revell-Monogram supplied cockpit is just gorgeous. Probably the finest kit they ever produced. The Pro-Modeller Instruction sheet is beautiful too as it features lots of useful hints and tips alongside pictures of the real thing.
