The rather rare OEZ Su-25K. It is believed that all OEZ mouldings were
subsequently reboxed by Kopro. This item came my way via a neighbour who
practically gave it to me. The OEZ boxing is rather sad with quite a poor
rendering of an interesting aircraft. This is one I always wanted to build
so, although not high on the shopping list, I could not avoid it for free.
This was one of two OEZ kits I acquired this way (the other being their Su-7)
and it looks as if these are fourth or fifth-hand. They were originally
owned by someone in the Czech Republic and no doubt found their way to the
UK via EBay. My neighbour picked them up at his local modelling club.

| An unusual
acquisition from EBay - "48-001" - probably the first 1/48th scale
Eduard photo-etch set and it was for (yes!) the OEZ Su-25K. It will
be interesting to compare this to the "Kopro" Version pictured
right. |
Here is the
modern version of Eduard's photo-etch sets - the BIG ED set for
Su-25K that will probably include the set shown left, although it is
has since been renumbered and is now for the Kopro/KP Kit. Is it the
same...? |
