     One of two LTD Lagg-3's purchased mail-order from The Aviation Hobby Shop. They were very expensive. Since purchasing them better alternatives have arrived. For example, ICM, Southern Front and Neomega all now offer superior alternatives although this may still remain the only version of this production run (Series 35 'lightened'). The kit remains collectible in its own right. However, as the name suggests, it is one of a limited-run release. Although injection moulded it is a little crude and rough around the edges. Quite a challenge. Aftermarket accessories include:

  • Falcon Clearvax Vacformed canopy (early and late type for LTD kit)

  • Extratech Seatbelts for Russian VVS of the GPW

No - not double vision. I accidentally bought two copies of this sheet off EBay at different times. D'oh!It is the Aeromaster Decal set 48-152C. A nice set it features 3 Series 35 LaGG-3 and one LaGG-3 'standard'. The title of the set is "Fighting Lavochkins Pt III".There are some interesting notes suggesting the LTD kit and adding that the LTD kit is a Series 35 "lightened" version. It also suggests the modifications to make it as standard machine.The Green Serie decals by Propagteam. The same machines are featured on all of these featured decal sheets (including the kit's own).

The Aeromaster set is superior but if you do want the machine featured on the LTD Decal sheet then I recommend the Propagteam sheets instead.
