     This kit has an interesting history. After I bought the AC-130OU kit from EBay I was on the look-out for the FlightPath Photo-etch set to detail it. Some time later this item appeared on EBay - it was an entire kit that happened to include the Photoetch set. The set costs well over £25 GBP but I think I got this entire kit for just £5 GBP. An excellent bargain. True - I could have thrown this kit away. However, it is almost complete (missing only one wing tank) hence I took pity on it. There are some interesting resin conversion sets out there for the 1/48th scale Italeri Hercules so this could turn into another interesting Project. The EBay seller had partly constructed and painted the model - although his efforts were not very expert - to be fair it does look as if he had experimented on the kit with little serious attempt to build it properly. He partly rescribed some panel lines before giving up. My sympathies. The few accessories you can get are:

Various bits and pieces in the box and out of it. Two assembled fuselage halves have been sitting around the attic for a couple of years until one recently broke in two....The remaining intact joined fuselage half. It has been painted and rescribed in places by the previous owner. It will be stripped and reconstructed in future.The inside of the built-up fuselage half showing some of the internal details that were added and painted.The cockpit and cabin sub-assemblies partially constructed.

The Instruction sheet.The curled up decals. I doubt I will have cause to use these although few alternatives have been found.Some of the de-bagged sprues showing large numbers of parts missing. They are all loose somewhere in new bags.It is all there (apart from one wing tank) - honestly!

The FlightPath photoetch detail set is quite expensive and difficult to find.Those Paragon Resin Wheels.Scale Aircraft Conversions white metal undercarriage purchased in March 2010. A dissappointing copy of the kit undercarriage with no obvious improvement other than strength.
