2. These
photo's show the scratchbuilt cockpit, air intake, nose gear bay, radar
intake bullet and rear bulkhead. The radar fairing is the nose from a
Matchbox 1/72nd scale Mirage. |
3. The side consoles come from an Italeri
Tornado kit. The above photo has been taken after major assembly. The main
gear bays were too shallow so I hollowed them out with a hobby power tool. |
4.
These photo's are taken in the Conservatory at my Father's house. Years
later - now that I own my own house with a Conservatory - I use my
Conservatory for Model photography. |
5.
Now the model is inverted in this outdoor shot. The ladder is a photo-etch one
from PPAeroparts. |

6. A
rear garden photo. The building in the background is a warehouse behind the
garden at my Father's House. |
7.
Close-up the of the tail. |
8. The
nose and cockpit. Ejection seat us white metal from Aeroclub. |
9.
Final shot. This was technically a very good build but it never looked good.
It needed engraved panel lines and a subtle wash and weathering. |
