1/48th scale F-111F Libyan Raider

1. Unknown Manufacturer. Probably Revell. The model is actually an F-111A not an F-111F and these were the days before the kind of upgrade and conversion aftermarket sets that nowadays we take for granted. Note how you can see clear through the fuselage in the above shot. The model is horribly inaccurate and I was not overly happy with the result.


2. The model has Superscale Decals for the F-111F. I remodelled the fuselage contours and air intakes using lots of Milliput.	3. There wasn't a lot of pay-back for all the effort. Even the Pave-Tack Pod was carefully carved from a Milliput block. This work was based on my own photo's taken at RAF Lakenheath.	4. Compare this photo's to the later Academy F-111F model in the Gallery 2000 section of this web site. I finally had my revenge on this particular curse.
