Airfix 1/24th scale Spitfire

1. The Airfix 1/24th scale 'super-kit' - the Spitfire. From the good old days when Airfix had imagination. Nowadays we have to leave it to new Manufacturers in China (ie, Trumpeter) to manufacture completely new kits in 1/24th scale.


2. I worked hard to retain the working features of the original kit. Remarkably this is a very old build.	3. This was built when I was very young, ie, late 70's, with simple techniques. I later made minor improvements.	4. I do remember that the propeller fell off more times than I care to remember and had to be fixed again and again.
